Nunes EMO. The AWSCS is a system to implement different approaches for automatic composition of Web services and also to execute the resulting flows from these approaches. Aiming at demonstrating the results of this paper, a scenario was developed, where empirical flows were built to demonstrate the operation of AWSCS, since algorithms for automatic composition are not readily available to test. The results allow us to study the behaviour of running composite Web services, when flows with the same functionality but different problem-solving strategies were compared. Furthermore, we observed that the influence of the load applied on the running system as the type of load submitted to the system is an important factor to define which approach for the Web service composition can achieve the best performance in production. This enabled enterprises to integrate services across different platforms and technologies through the composition of services [ 1 ]. The development of composite Web services is a complex task for developers, possibly because the search for Web services which can be part of the Composite Web service is not trivial. In [ 2 ] an experiment using students to develop composite Web services is presented. This experiment indicates that the most difficult part of the creation of new composite services is the discovery of pertinent Web services to achieve the goal. In order to solve this problem the use of semantic Web services was proposed.

MatchMate is a custom designed, home-based, computer matchmaking service created by a marriage counselor and Fortune software designer.
The company provides local matchmaking services to Boston-area singles; national and international matchmaking services to singles worldwide via the Internet ; and exclusive licenses to other entrepreneurs to own and operate MatchMate software using the MatchMate name and system within geographic boundaries around the world. The MatchMate Internetworld wide web site, in addition to offering matchmaking services, hosts a singles‘ mall replete with photo gallery listings in a variety of geographic locations, and markets other singles-related services and products.
The company employs three full-time staff, three outside sales representatives, and several contract programmers who maintain and develop the web site presence.

I started with two vague assumptions driving my Ph. First, linked open data can serve as a better infrastructure for online markets. Second, matchmakers operating in this infrastructure can remove some friction from conducting business transactions in the markets, thereby making the market allocation more efficient. What I needed to play with these ideas was a market in which data on both supply and demand is available.

This document is based on a review of requirements gathered from a number of different environments to identify the scope and potential requirements for this Semantic Web Services architecture. SWSI started in the autumn of based on common interest of the researchers involved. This document describes abstract protocols for interactions between clients and Semantic Web Services and proposes other support services that may be needed in some contexts to fulfill the basic requirements of the proposed architecture.
Our goal is that this architecture provides a foundation that will support a variety of semantically enabled service deployments in a variety of current and future distributed environments, especially those building on the World Wide Web. We anticipate that the architecture will also indicate requirements for Semantic Web service description languages which are being designed by our sister committee, the SWSI Language Committee.
Our approach to developing an architectural framework for Semantic Web Services is based on an identified set of roles and requirements for machine interpreted semantic descriptions in the deployment of Semantic Web Services to different distributed environments, addressed in our previously released Requirements Document.

The tasks involved in making cloud services available, such as matchmaking, selection and composition, are essential and closely related to each other. Integration of these tasks is critical for optimal composition and performance of the cloud service platform. More efficient solutions could be developed by considering cloud service tasks collectively, but the research and academic community have so far only considered these tasks individually.
The purpose of this paper is to propose an integrated QoS-based approach for cloud service matchmaking, selection and composition using the Semantic Web. In this paper, the authors propose a new approach using the Semantic Web and quality of service QoS model to perform cloud service matchmaking, selection and composition, to fulfil the requirements of an end user.
In the Semantic Web, the authors develop cloud ontologies to provide semantic descriptions to the service provider and requester, so as to automate the cloud service tasks. This paper considers QoS parameters, such as availability, throughput, response time and cost, for quality assurance and enhanced user satisfaction. This paper focus on the development of an integrated framework and approach for cloud service life cycle phases, such as discovery, selection and composition using QoS, to enhance user satisfaction and the Semantic Web, to achieve automation.
Results derived through the experiment prove that the proposed prototype performs well for the defined set of cloud-services tasks. As a novel concept, our proposed integrated framework and approach for cloud service matchmaking, selection and composition based on the Semantic Web and QoS characterisitcs availability, response time, throughput and cost , as part of the service level agreement SLA will help the end user to match, select and filter cloud services and integrate cloud-service providers into a multi-cloud environment.

The success of the Web service paradigm has led to a proliferation of available services. While sophisticated semantic functional discovery mechanisms have been invented to overcome UDDI’s syntactic solution, the number of functionally equivalent Web services returned is still large. The solution to this problem is the description of the non-functional aspect of Web services, in particular quality of service QoS , which is directly related to their performance.
We are currently developing a semantic framework, which includes ontologies and matchmaking algorithms, for the semantic QoS-based description and discovery of Web services.

The tender, RM has evolved from the existing contract, RM, with several changes; the most notable is the addition of Lot 6, a new lot specifically added for the assessment of language services. Unlike the five other lots and in order to prevent a conflict of interest, Lot 6 will be awarded to a single provider, which cannot be awarded any other lot. Interestingly, although RM divides the other five lots so as to separate spoken and non-spoken language services, the quality assurance provider QAP for Lot 6 will assess both spoken and non-spoken languages.
The tender specifies that assessments must comply with recognized industry standards, including ISOs and the relevant National Occupational Standards. QAP assessors must consider, at a minimum, content accuracy, adherence to codes of conduct, and booking requirements. The assessment process will include random checks, with performance falling into one of three categories: Pass, Development Required, or Fail.
Practitioners who fail an assessment will be granted a reassessment within a set period. Those who fail twice will be suspended from future assignments associated with the contract. If performance is classified as requiring development, the QAP must provide a personal development plan with suggestions for continuing professional development CPD activities. In a July 28, webinar, CCS Commercial Agreement Manager John Devery s said potential providers will be encouraged to share pay rates for translators and interpreters when applying for lots.
Although pay rates will not be evaluated, Devery said, CCS wants to promote transparency. They also cautioned LSPs against lowballing rates for their services in order to win contracts, since they may later be unable to fulfill contracts at those rates.
